Where is the QuickBooks 2019 Proadivsor certification?

Well, I am wondering too where my 2019 Desktop certification is. Normally, it was available latest in the Thanksgiving week. I am on auto-renew, payment never has effected availability. Customer Support told me, this certification is not available before 2019, which I do not believe.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community space. Allow me to step in for a moment and share some information about QuickBooks Desktop 2019 ProAdvisor Certification.

We recently received an update that our Support Team will be discontinuing the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification training modules and exam, effective December 31, 2018.

Those who are currently QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certified on or before the cutoff period will have their certification status extended for 3 years. Starting January 1, 2019, until January 1, 2022, the lifetime status will take effect and there will be no new QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification granted after this date.

That is ONLY for the ADVANCED...not the regular QuickBooks Desktop Certification which is what has been asked over and over.  Usually available in October for the following year.  We don't have QBO clients...but we do have 450 desktop clients that we support.  I guess I will contact Sleeter

MargauxInDenver is correct. Only the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification will be discontinued on December 31, 2018, and we still offer QuickBooks Certification (Desktop version). Though this is not yet available, it should be ready early 2019 and you can access it in your Proadvisor account.

I dont think the question was about advanced. She, nor I, can find the 2019 DESKTOP regular certification. Its now December 12th. Accountants everywhere are hoping to get certified Before tax season. I need mind Before the end of the year. Where do we go to find it and download the (already paid for) desktop version???? Then take the test???? Where ??? Not in the proadvisor area as the prior version are.

This answer is not helping. You answered about the Advanced. No one asked about that. We need to know where to download 2019 Desktop software and where the certification test is on our proadvisor pages? They only show 2018 and prior. Certainly 2019 is out there somewhere. Certainly Intuit wouldnt be selling it in retail stores before allowing its paid advisors to get updated. Can you help us find it?

For my business & myself, I would prefer to be doing the 2019 QuickBooks Desktop recertification between November & December rather than the beginning of 2019.  Just so you know, the month of January is very busy with preparing & e-filing W-2's & 1099's along with all of the quarterly federal & state reports.

So,

Who in Intuit came up with this idea of getting the recertification exam out in the beginning of the new year???

This was not a good decision from Intuit.

I got the email but still can't find the blasted 2019 QuickBooks Desktop Certification within

Pro Advisor in QuickBooks Online Accountant.  The Email was dated 2/4/2019.  It tells me 

to Scroll down and select the 2019 Desktop Certification but all there is is QuickBooks Online training.?????

Honestly, I have contacted support and it took so long that I had to leave.  I was told they had to

figure out why I couldn't access the Desktop certification training.  As of today, I still am not able to

access Desktop certification training only Online Accountant.   So, whenever a have a couple of hours to spare I will try again.

Just to verify, are you trying to access the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification training modules? If so, we have not supported it since December 31, 2018.

If you're referring to the 2019 Basic training and certification exams, you'll need to have an active QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor membership to be eligible in taking them. 

If you have an active membership, I'd suggest reaching out to our ProAdvisor Customer Care Team again. This process requires pulling up your account, as this is a public forum. They can help you determine the possible reasons you're unable to access the training modules. They can also provide options on how to access them.
