Why can I not cancel my QB account? I was told I am paying thru Apple pay but that is not the case as I spoke w Apple. How do I cancel my subscription?

It saddens me to see you go, @swelp67. It seems that QuickBooks Online may not meet your specific needs. Our goal is to assist you in discovering the most suitable tools to fulfill those needs.

Before we proceed, could you let me know if you encountered any messages or pop-ups while attempting to cancel your subscription? These pop-ups often provide guidance on completing the process.

Additionally, it's correct that subscriptions purchased through the App Store cannot be canceled via the QuickBooks mobile app. Therefore, if you purchased this through the Apple App Store, you can find the official steps to cancel on their website.

Otherwise, you can follow the steps below to cancel your account. Before doing so, consider exporting your data into an Excel file for backup purposes:

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. From there, go to the Products & Billing tab.
  3. Select your company name, find the product you wish to cancel, and then select Cancel.
  4. Choose a reason for canceling your subscription from the available options. Once you have filled it out, select Continue to cancel.
  5. A page will appear detailing product benefits and the last day you'll have access to your subscription. Select Continue to cancel.
  6. A pop-up will confirm that your subscription is canceled, then select Got it.

Moreover, if you want to return to business with QuickBooks, you can re-subscribe or reactivate your account in just a few steps. We will be happy to serve you again.

I’ll keep this thread open for your concerns and other queries about managing your subscriptions, @swelp67. I’m just a post away to guide you. Stay safe!
