Why do the "transaction types" differ on the profit and loss detail report under expenses (check vs. expense vs. bill)? I would like consistency.

Why do the "transaction types" differ on the profit and loss detail report under expenses (check vs. expense vs. bill)? I would like consistency.

Hi Tiffany,

 

The transaction type is based on what you chose when you create transactions for your vendors. If you click the Plus icon in the upper right hand corner, you'll see all transaction types under the Vendors section: Expense, Check, Bills, Pay Bills, etc.
