Allow me to help make sure you can update your account using the app. Let’s run some basic troubleshooting steps to get your bank feeds working back to normal.
Before we proceed, may I know the name of the Financial Institution? Did you receive any errors? This is to check if we have a reported issue.
While waiting for the information, clear the data storage of your device. Performing this process will reset the app to its default state.

When using the bank feeds feature, the online program automatically downloads transactions every night. If you don't want to wait for the scheduled download, perform a manual update to fetch the latest entries.

The financial institution I use is commerce bank. I have never received an error message. Most times the online program won't update overnight. I am not using a "QBO" app on windows. I am using the android app or logging in through an internet browser on my pc to force the update in the banking tab.

I appreciate you for performing the recommended solutions provided by my colleague. I've checked here on our end and there's no reported case about Commerce bank not updating in QuickBooks Online (QBO). There are some possible reasons why it happens. Among these are:
Let's try checking on your bank websites if there's no problem on their end. Then, try manually updating your bank in QBO through the web. For most banks, QuickBooks downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT and some may take a little longer. Here's how:

In the meantime, just manually import your bank transactions using.CSV a file. You can download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QBO. Just follow the steps and details in the Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online article. Then, we can categorize and match online bank transactions into your account.
