An invoice payment can be under review for several reasons, jeauxofalltrades.
If you're a new QuickBooks Payments user, your first few payments may take longer to process. It can take up to five business days for these initial payments to be deposited while your account is being set up. After this, subsequent payments will typically clear much faster.
A payment may also be held for additional security checks if it was manually entered as an ACH payment. To help reduce processing delays and speed up the process, you can encourage your customers to pay through pay-enabled invoices within QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Payments made before 3 p.m. PST should be in your bank account in two business days if you don't have a next-day deposit. We'll start the deposit the next business day if you process payments after 3 p.m. PST.
