Your bank connection with QuickBooks may be interrupted for any of the following reasons:


  • If there is a minor or major update in your bank information.
  • Update in your Online Banking Login credentials.
  • Bank outage and other scheduled maintenance.

Let's log in to your bank's website to see if their server is working properly, and isn't under system maintenance. This could be the reason why the auto-update has stopped working.


If everything works fine on their end, you can manually update your bank feeds. This is to download transactions that have cleared your bank. 


Here's how:

  1. Go to the Baking page.
  2. Select your bank, then click Update.
  3. This might take a moment to complete the process.

You can import transactions using a .CSV file. if the issue persists. This way, you'll be able to bring them in to QBO.


I'd also appreciate if you can add which bank you're currently working on. This will help me provide accurate information about your concern for today.
