Why is Quickbooks support horrible, a week has passed since they started a migration for us, we have chatted at least 13 times and have wasted too much manpower.

We have tried to get our QuickBooks off a server and into the cloud, Quickbooks has had it for 8 business days, we have been on the phone every day and nothing, a case number and a different individual every time. Anybody got any suggestions besides burning intuit to the ground, or a suggestion for another accounting software that has people that give a crap.

Very frustrated.

Did you ask "Support" to  migrate data from QB Desktop US version to QB Online US version?

We are always aiming to make our customers feel valued, ddrew.

I appreciate the time and effort you've spent with one of our support agents. I'll personally share your feedback with our Customer Support Team regarding this one and we'll be able to take action on improving our customer service.

If you encounter errors when converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, just follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot the issue: How to fix errors when converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. However, if you have trouble importing your company file to QBO, try rebuilding your data file and restart the export process. Here's how:

  1. Verify your company data.
  2. Rebuild your company data to repair problems.
  3. Verify your rebuilt company data.
  4. Start the export process again.

You can check out this article for the detailed steps: How to resolve issues when importing from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows to QuickBooks Online.

If you need further assistance with the migration process, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support team. They have the tools to securely access your account and assist you with this one. I know you already contacted us, however, this is the best option we can have to transfer your data to an Online version.

It is now day 13 that Intuit has had our data files, we have been given deadlines twice for completion, to no avail.

Again we are stuck, this is beyond the pale, we are not able to use our new Customer Service Management software/ Dispatching software. We are entering our busy season and I am angry that there is so much chaos within Intuit, day 13.

@ddrew

Afaik, Support won't help to migrate data from QB Desktop file to QB Online. There is a free migration service but only valid for ProAdvisor for a limited time. If you are not ProAdvisor, consider purchasing a 3rd party migration service.
