When pulling up the Accounts receivable aging summary report, it will show unpaid balances for each customer, grouped by days past due. Keep in mind that the data showing on the report is base on the filters being set up.

Thank you MirriamM. However I do not have any data for paid or unpaid. I just setup my customers today. I have sales transactions from customers but they are only defined as customers as of today.
I'm here to help you get the data you need, jasonworley.
The A/R Aging Summary is a transaction based report, thus, we'll have to record the previous transactions under the newly set up customer. This way, they'll show up in the report if they're past the due date.
If these transaction are already entered within QuickBooks, we can manually open each transaction and toggle it into the new customer's name. If you have a list of these sales forms, we can import them. We'll need a .CSV file format and the Sales Tax option is turned off for us to bring up the data into QuickBooks.
Once the transactions are already ready, you can now pull up the report and customize them. To do this, you can look into the articles given by my colleague.

Thank you Catherine. I was able to find the sales transactions and update the Customer Name. However it still does not show up in the A/R Summary Report. To confirm, all invoices are up to date. And I never sent an invoice through QB. I
Hi there, @jasonworley.
It's my priority to help you sort this out.
To isolate this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps.
The stored browser cache in your system could be the reason why the search button is not working. We can start by accessing your QBO account in a private browser. This mode doesn't save your searches, visited pages, log in details, and cookies.
Here's are the shortcut keys:
If the private browsing session works, retry to run an A/R Aging Summary Report to double-check it. For further guidance, consider checking out this article: Memorize reports.
If it's successful, go back to your regular browser and perform a clear cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean trash. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
Once done, restart your browser for the changes to take effect. If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to reach back out anytime. Have a great day!
