Working with Tags, how do I add another new group. Only letting me add one group or use ungrouped

At this moment, we can only create single tags in QuickBooks Self-Employed, @rudi1028.

 

The option to create a new group for tags is currently unavailable. You can only group them by color. Also, when adding tags to a transaction you'll need to select them individually. 

 

Here's how to create tags:

 

  1. In QuickBooks, go to the Settings/Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage tags.
  3. Hit Create new tag.
  4. Enter the necessary information and click Save.
