Learn how Human Resources Services powered by Mineral Inc. works in QuickBooks Online Payroll, and what you can do with it.

Mineral Inc. provides human resources support for your payroll needs. Depending on your QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription, you can utilize the HR Support Center and/or HR Advisor.

HR Support Center (Premium and Elite Payroll)

If you’re using QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite, you can quickly get info on topics like compliance, hiring best practices, employees, handbooks, crafting job descriptions, and more.

HR Advisor (Elite Payroll)

This service lets you connect securely with an HR Advisor to answer specific questions. You can connect with them as much as you need.

Before you can access the Human Resources Services:

  • If you’re using QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, you can upgrade your payroll subscription to Premium or Elite to get the Human Resource Services. Go to Payroll, then HR Advisor to compare your plans and learn more.
  • If you're an Accountant, you can access HR services through your own QuickBooks Online Payroll Elite account.
  • Initial access can only be done by the Primary Admin. After that, other users that have payroll access, such as Company admin or Standard user will be able to utilize HR services.

Access and use Human Resources Services

You’ll have access to HR Support Center.

  1. Go to Payroll, then select HR Advisor.
  2. Select any of the topics.
  3. Select any sub topics or select Search more and you’ll be directed to Mineral’s HR Support Center for access to many other HR related topics.

You’ll have access to both HR Support Center and HR Advisor.

  1. Go to Payroll, then select HR Advisor.
  2. Select any of the topics.
  3. Select any sub topics or select Search more and you’ll be directed to Mineral’s HR Support Center for access to many other HR related topics.
  4. You’ll also have access to live HR Advisors. Select the chat icon to connect with them through chat from the HR Support Center.
