A deposit from my bank came in as SPENT. What do I need to do to correct it?

Thank you for letting us know, TheCrosswayMinistry. To resolve this issue, you'll need to exclude the transaction from your bank and manually upload it to QuickBooks if it hasn't been added yet. I’ll walk you through the steps.

Here’s how to exclude the transaction:

  1. Navigate to the Bank Transactions menu.
  2. Click on the For Review tab.
  3. Check the box for the transaction dated June 23 that is labeled as SPENT.
  4. Select Exclude.

Then, manually upload the transaction into QuickBooks with the correct categorization to make sure your financial reports accurately reflect your income and expenses.

Once you've completed this, you might want to reconcile your account to ensure your QuickBooks records align with your bank statements and that all transactions are recorded accurately.
