Thank you for providing a few disclaimers about your concern, @david-hutchison

It's possible your QuickBooks Payments account is new when your recipient made a payment via credit card/apple pay. We usually deposit your funds within 5 business days while we set up your merchant account. This could be the reason you're unable to receive an email for the payment. Also, this is the possible reason why the program is showing your bank information that was made directly to the account. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Find Out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Your Money

Yes, the payment will clear on its own after it gets deposited to your bank. Also, you'll have to fully pay the subscription before your trial version expires. This avoids the account disruption and ensures the payment will go through. Just go to this website: QBO Pricing. Then, select your plan and click Buy Now

However, if your QuickBooks Payments account isn't new but the payment is still missing, I'd suggest contacting our Merchant Services Team. They can tell its status and when it will be deposited to your bank. Here's how:

  1. Go to this website: Contact Payments Support.
  2. Find the QuickBooks Online Payments & Merchant Service Center section.
  3. Get their up-to-date contact information to call them.

Once done, you can get paid faster using our smarter invoicing features. It lets you easily track your invoices and auto matches your bank transactions which helps you save time. For more details, check out this website: Get Paid Faster

Hi @david-hutchison,

QuickBooks Online (QBO) will scan your downloaded bank transactions so it can provide you the best possible match.

If the downloaded transaction in question is from QuickBooks Payments, you can check your Merchant Service Center to review it.

Here's how:

  1. (This is within QBO) From the Gear icon, go to Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab, then select Manage Account. This will open the Merchant Service Center.
  3. Go to Activity & Reports, then Transactions.

You can also access by logging in to the Merchant Service Center log in page.

The following articles have steps on how you can add or match transactions, respectively:

Thanks @Ryan_M - I ran through those steps but the transaction reporting doesnt' show the transaction in question. I think there is a slight difference we need to account for...I sent an invoice via quickbooks and the recipient paid it via credit card/applepay. That payment is what is still "in review". A few disclaimers that I don't know if they're important:

- This is my first transaction on QB online. The invoice sent and payment made were a test run for future processes so I don't know if there are other things that need to be setup first. But QB is showing my bank information such as current cash and deposits/transfers that were made directly to the account.

- It's only been since Nov 14th that the payment was made. Will the payment "clear" on its own after a certain amount of time?

- I'm still using the trial version of QB online so maybe I need to be full paid before things like this will process?

Thanks for jumping in to help...your advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I have a payment in review and I also have a payment with "multiple errors" both of these say check your email for more details however there was a typo in my email so I did not receive them. I corrected the typo, how can I resend these crucial emails to myself? I believe it would be really help if in the invoicing section there was a function or capability to resend these review emails incase they got lost in the shuffle. Thanks!
