Hello,
Our client informed us they want tags added to their checks, but these transactions have already been reconciled. When I add the tags to these reconciled transactions they do not show up on the tag group reports. Is this because these transactions have already been reconciled? If so, will I have to undo the reconciliation for the tags to then show up on the report?
Thanks!
Hi there, Gabbi62.

Yes, you're correct. You'll have to undo the reconciliation so the Tags group will show on the report. Here's how to undo them manually:
From there, you're good to add the Tags. Here's an article as your guide: Add tags in QuickBooks Online.
Once done, you can reconcile the transactions again. Feel free to browse this link as your guide: Reconcile accounts.
Keep me posted whenever you have concerns managing transactions. I've got your back!
Do you know if there is any other way to group transactions and produce reports per Group without having to undo the reconciliations? Or is this the only way?
Hey there, @Gabbi62.

Another way to track things is by classes. You may utilize this feature to get clearer understandings on your sales, expenses, or profitability by business segment.
Please let me know if there's anything else that I can help with your reports. I'm always here to assist. Have a wonderful day.
