adjusting amounts on my CSV file from my bank statments. Is there a way to do this???

Hi there, @gracie1561.

Yes, you can change the amounts in your CSV file in QuickBooks Online. I'm here to demonstrate the process.

You'll need to ensure clicking the Enable Editing button to view and modify the full content of the data. See the illustration below:

Once this option is enabled, you'll be able to adjust the amounts on your banking statement.

If you have and the problem persists, I recommend updating your Excel. Outdated Excel may have resulted in blank data in exported reports. Let me show you how:

  1. Open the Excel spreadsheet.
  2. Select the File menu.
  3. Choose Account.
  4. Click the Update Options button.
  5. Choose Update Now.

Furthermore, I'm adding this article to confirm the CSV file you received from your bank before uploading transactions to QuickBooks: Format CSV files in Excel.

In addition, always match your account in QuickBooks online to your banking statements. Check out this article for your guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

That's it! Let me know if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions when reconciling your accounts. Take care and have a wonderful day!

@gracie1561

Another option, you can use MT Online to adjust the amount before reconciling the data into QBO.
