Bank Account Password Visibility and Security

I'd like to link one of my Wells Fargo business accounts to Quickbooks online. This account is shared with my personal account. If I add the account to Quickbooks, is there any way other employees who have access to Quickbooks can see my bank account password?

I'll help with your question about adding a bank and user permissions, wwommack.

 

Once a bank is connected in QuickBooks Online, your username and password is not going to be visible in the Online Banking page.

 

The user can only see the account's balance and downloaded transactions in the Banking tab. From there, they can match and add categories to the banking transactions. Check out these articles for additional guidance and reference:
