Bank balance in bank feed center shows the wrong amount...

Hi! I am a beginner and completed my first two month in QB desktop. Everything looks fine except that one of the bank accounts shows wrong amount in the bank feed, while in QB it is correct and match the bank statement. All transactions were downloaded manually from the banks month by month using Web-connect files. Then all transactions were added to QB and other two banks have matching balances, but this one has almost $3000 difference. I played with it a little learning how to do the things and was able to come to a correct amount in QB - once again: all transactions in QB match bank transactions perfectly. So why this bank balance is showing wrong? Probably I did something wrong while learning and moving the things around... The question is what possibly could it be and how to find the error (if there is one) and fix it?

Hello Holy Lady of Kazan,

 

Below are the reasons why QuickBooks balances may not match:

  • Outstanding transactions
  • New transactions for a connected account
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Edited or deleted transactions
  • Credit card (liability) account

Let's download your latest transactions by following these steps:

  1. Click Banking.
  2. Click Bank Feeds.
  3. Click Bank Feeds Center.
  4. Click the Refresh icon beside the LAST UPDATE: label.
