I am having trouble connecting to Wells Fargo thru on line quickbooks. Constantly says error 324 and click the banner to repair. Just spins forever. Anyone else having this issue and figured out how to fix it?? Help!!
I want the error message to stay out of your way, Susan.
I understand how important it's to connect the bank to QuickBooks Online. Allow me to provide an alternative way, so you can review your transactions in your account speedily.
Error 324 means QuickBooks can't find the account you set up when it tries to connect to your bank or credit card's website. We're currently investigating this error message that you have. Our engineers are already working toward correcting the issue as soon as possible.
Along with that, I suggest you interact with our QuickBooks support to add you to the list of affected users. Rest assured that once the connection is re-established, QuickBooks will notify you by email.

As a workaround, I'd recommend importing the bank transactions manually. This way, you can categorize and reconcile the account regularly.
Follow the steps below:
5. Review all the fields, then tap Next.
6. Click Let's go to complete the process.

I'm having the exact same problem and nothing QB recommends works. I've had a QB rep call me, take over my computer and then give up and say it'll eventually be fixed b/c they're working on it, but nothing has been fixed.
Let me help share insights about the connection of your bank account, @kfine.
Currently, we have an ongoing issue where customers, like you, receive Error 324 for Wells Fargo in QuickBooks Online Banking Feeds. We're also unable to provide the exact turnaround time as our engineering team is all hands working to fix this as soon as possible.

As another option, utilize MT Online for the time being. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.

I am having exact same problem, I have reached out to QBO and wells fargo for a solution so far not solution from either except to do a manual download which is not really the solution needed here. I don't have this issues with any other bank, so i am giving it 30 more days my next step is switch bank for this accounts.
I am still having bank error code 324. This has been going on for months. Very annoying. All the fixes that Quickbooks reps tell me to do, don't work. I am paying a monthly fee and not getting my money's worth. Why is it taking months and months to figure out this issue??? Very hard to keep my accounts correct when I can't upload from the bank. Also keeps my register wrong because I can't upload debit card purchases. I have desktop Quickbooks for another business and have no trouble, only with quickbooks online. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!
HI, Are you having this problem with Wells Fargo bank ? I used to have this problem with Wells Fargo since Dec 2021 no one could fix so I ended up switching to JP Morgan chase.. problem solved !!!
Yes, the problem is with Wells Fargo. I checked with the bank and they said problem is with Quickbooks not the bank. Does JP Morgan have a similar program to Quickbooks? Thanks for your reply.
Not a software, Chase has connection interface to quickbooks so you can download your transaction into your financial software, as you were doing with Wellls Fargo.
“All hands” working on this and here it is a month and a half later and no result? That’s pretty awful.
I understand how efficient online banking is to your business, @kfine.
As of now, we haven't received any updates yet. Rest assured that our engineers are currently investigating and working on an immediate fix. For now, you'll have to upload your bank transactions manually to keep you updated.

I just called Quickbooks again and they give the standard reply working on it. UGH. I also asked for compensation for this being a huge problem and was told NO! I have been having this issue for way too long. I am beginning to think their "engineers" have no clue. I feel your pain kfine.
All hands have been on this since November. They must be exhausted.
I understand how important it is to keep your business running smoothly, @TH76.

I posted about WF and QBO connecting error months ago, and I keep finding more and more folks having same issues. The only way it connects for me is to log into QBO, click Update, when you get the error "Reconnect bank accts", click it, wait for that to stop, then close out, re-log in, and it should connect, it does for me, so for several months that is my new procedure, calling it the "2-step connect"!
You are not alone! I have had this issue since Dec 2021, and all I get is the below email from Intuit every few weeks. And what truly stinks, is that the QB Pros on the community don't seem to be aware of it and keep telling us to try this and that! It is an INTUIT problem that must be fixed now! Good Luck!!

As of today I can no longer manually upload a transaction file. So I'm not happy, but at least I'm not alone in my suffering! I spent an hour on chat with customer support and the result of that was it has to be "escalated" which means it's going into a black hole. Ugh!
Since it is hockey playoff season... Do you believe in Miracles?!?!? :) Yes, my error 324 has stopped as of 5/2/22!! It only took 5 months to fix, dang those hands must be pooped and now need 5 months off! In all seriousness, this is very sad for QBs, and I for one will not recommend QBOs because of this issue. I also use Desktop for other clients and am happy, but Online, not so much! Good luck to you all with this problem, hoping if mine is fixed that means all who use Wells Fargo are also fixed. Go Rangers and Canes!
And today it has stopped working again. Thanks for the productivity buster QBO.
Thanks for checking the Community to find solutions to resolve the 324 error, @TH76.
We've received similar reports from other users who are getting the Error 324 when connecting to Wheels Fargo. This is a current issue, and our product engineers are looking for a permanent fix for this unusual behavior.
