Bank feed not updating

Message says cannot use bank feeds because QuickBooks has not been registered.  Just started receiving this message 5 days ago.  I did change my account to Platinum.  I assume something happened during this upgrade.

Bank feed not updating

I'd be glad to help you today so you'll be able to use your bank feeds successfully.


QuickBooks must be registered in order to use the online banking activities. The message you're receiving happens when QuickBooks may not be registered or the Entitlement Client file may be damaged.


To resolve the issue, you have to verify that QuickBooks is registered.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks as the Admin user.
  2. Press F2 on your keyboard to open the Product Information screen.
  3. To the right of the license number is the registration status.
  4. If the registration status is Unregistered, choose Help> Register QuickBooks.
  5. Complete the registration steps and then attempt to import the Web Connect statement again.

If QuickBooks is already registered and the error continues, you have to delete the Entitlement Client file and re-register QuickBooks.
