So on 8/31/20 I went into quickbooks, updated windows, quickbooks desktop pro... Now when I go into quickbooks pro desktop, the Bank Feeds download window will not load. Nothing happens. Everything else seems to be fine. If I go into chart of accounts are still set up for download. No changes were made to the file, I just reloaded it and here we are.
After HOURS of useless online chat support (where they asked me to pay a "mininal fee for support"), restoring Windows from a backup, troubleshooting this to death with their tools and advice and complicated support articles - thank you for posting this simple temporary solution! It works!
I also appreciate @Jovychris_A acknowledging this issue and want to stay subscribed to updates from Intuit on this issue.
I've learned that the culprit for this issue is RoboForm! The latest update of RoboForm introduced this issue. If you uninstall RoboForm (or uninstall and go back to a previous version - or a future version that fixes this), the problems with QuickBooks will disappear.
Run as Administrator also continues to be a working solution.
