Some transactions, primarily direct deposit, ACH transactions and transfers are not downloaded in the Bank Feeds with all other transactions. These ignored transactions must be manually entered in order to reconcile an account. Please Help
You can manually update your bank account in the Bank Feeds screen to let these transactions downloaded in QuickBooks, MikW.
Go to Banking and select Bank Feeds.
Click the appropriate bank account.
Click the Refresh icon at the top right corner of the screen.
If they're still not showing, it's possible that your bank has some restrictions on what specific transactions they'll let you download in QuickBooks. Also, QuickBooks only accepts information from the bank. I'd suggest contacting them to verify why these transactions aren't showing in QuickBooks.
This problem persists, no matter what I do. I have several business banking accounts with Huntington National Bank. I have contacted them several times. They say the only controls they have is to permit the connection, not what is downloaded. I login using their PC banking personal/business portal using direct connect with QB desktop professional services edition 2018. I have deactivated and reactivated each account several times, but to no avail. The download process executes without glitches, but with almost every download a random transaction or two does not download. Mostly these appear to be transfers, ACH transactions or direct deposits. I get no errors to indicate something did not transfer. The only way I know is by reconciling and then entering the missing transactions manually. Sure would like to find a fix for this! It's a real pain in an otherwise wonderful system.
