Bank feeds

After I download bank transactions the first time and then try a few days later I get this message: Navigation to the webpage was canceled.  If I refresh the page and try again I get this message:  Can't reach this page.  Is it something to do with the bank or is it me?

Re: Bank feeds

Hello there, 3268.

It's possible that you browse to a web page that are in different Internet Explorer security zones.

Let's try to add Intuit in a trusted site.

Here's how:

  1. In the Internet Explorer, select Tools, then Internet Options.
  2. Click Security tab.
  3. Choose the Trusted Sites icon.
  4. Click the Sites button.
  5. In the Add this website to the zone box, enter: *
  6. Then click to clear the Require server verification (https: ) for all sites in this zone box.
  7. Click Close, then OK.

Don't hesitate to reach back to me how this works. I'm always here to help if you need anything else.

Re: Bank feeds

I must be the unluckiest person.  Evry question that I have asked has always had some element in the fix that I either I don't have or a program that I can't find on my computer.

Glinette I truly appreciate your suggestion and your help but evidently I do not have internet explorer on my computer or I can't find it.  I have had nothing but trouble ever since I have installed the bank feeds portion on my comp.  I really think the it is the Bank's unwillingness to allow me access to my bosses bank accounts.  The only thing I can think of doing is stop using the bank feeds to match up my invoices with what is in the bank account.

I will just have to do it the long way and hope for the best.

Thank you for your help Glinette.

Re: Bank feeds

Thanks for getting back to me, 3268.

How about this, try logging in to a private browser or incognito for us to determine if this is a browser's issue. If it still doesn't work, go back to your original browser and clear its cache. Deleting data history will refresh your system. If you'll still getting the same result, try using other browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.

I'm just around if there's anything else you need. I'm always here to help.

Re: Bank feeds

So sorry Glinette I have been out of town and am just now getting on line and checking my messages.  I have logged on to Edge InPrivate.  Now what do I do?  Will be watching for your response.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Bank feeds

Hi there, 3268.

At this time, QuickBooks Desktop does not support EDGE as a default web browser on your software. QuickBooks is compatible with Internet Explorer (IE) and the only web browser that can integrate into your software.

To resolve this error message, you'll need to install IE on your computer and set it up as the default browser.

Here's how:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner (or click Tools).
  3. Click Internet Options.
  4. Click the Programs tab.
  5. Under Default Web Browser click the Make Default button.
  6. Click OK.

You can check out this article for more details about setting IE as a default browser: Set Internet Explorer to be your default browser.

Once done, you can follow the detailed steps in this article on how to download bank feeds transaction in QuickBooks:

Download Bank Feed transactions.
