There are two scenarios that I can think of, jd1953.
If this downloaded transaction is a deposit, you can use the Add More Details option in the bank feeds to split the amount.
Here's how:
- Click Banking on the upper menu.
- Select Bank Feeds, then choose Bank Feeds Center.
- Select the account and open the Transaction List.
- Check the transaction you want to match, click the drop-down arrow below the Action column.
- Select Add More Details.
However, if this is a payment, you can ignore the downloaded transaction and manually enter it in QuickBooks to directly apply it to the payments.
