Join nowWe use QuickBooks desktop premier 2020. I wanted to setup auto bank feeds to fetch transactions daily, trying to streamline and save time. I think I linked our bank feed for our checking account, it has the lightning bolt symbol in chart of accounts and lists the account in the bank feed center. But when I select refresh it prompts me to log into the bank's website.
The issue is my bank changed their url from "www.1ststatebk.com" to "www.1ststate.bank". The window opens up but sits and waits to redirect to the .bank url.
I had downloaded transactions as a .qbo file but the next day I have this same issue. Is there any way I can have the feed setup to auto fetch transactions without logging in and downloading the qbo file? This process is not saving any time right now.
I got your back, dustinschmidt.
Since your bank changed its URL, you'll have to disconnect the old connection. Then, connect it with the new URL.
If you see an error or can’t disconnect an account, here’s how to fix Bank Feed errors.
On the other hand, you might want to check with your bank as well. They might have switched to Web Connect in downloading transactions. If that's the case, you can download your bank transactions with these steps:
You can check this article for future reference: Fix Web Connect import errors.

I don't have an option to enter any url. I select my bank from the list of financial instituions and it auto selects the old link. This is a quickbooks issue.
Hello, dustinschmidt.
I'll give some information on how you can get the updated link into QuickBooks Desktop.
The 1st State Bank hasn't sent us their updated link. In this case, you'll want to contact their support and inform them to update their information for our Bank Feeds feature.
Our banking team will work with them and update the URL in our end. Note: The bank has the final say on whether they'll proceed with the changes or not.
In the meantime, you'll want to continue using the .QBO file to bring in your transactions in QuickBooks.
After downloading your transactions, you can start matching or adding them for your books.
You can start your bank reconciliation routine whenever you're ready. For a workflow guide, check this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
I'll help out some more if you have concerns managing your transactions. Don't forget to add other concerns you might have for QuickBooks Desktop.
