Bank Feeds

Annotation 2020-02-14 154128.png

Hi, above is a feed that is obtain from bank transaction. Is there a way to combine both feeds and match it to one single Sales Receipt transaction that has been entered into system.

The sales receipt total is RM1723.00. But my client paid with 2 seperate cheques amounted to RM720 and RM1003 respectively.

Thanks in advance.

Bank Feeds

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community, @tanmarcus93.

Matching multiple downloaded transactions to a single sales receipt is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. I suggest excluding the payments obtained from bank feeds and manually clear the sales receipt through the bank register.

To exclude them, here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Banking and select the account.
  2. Put a checkmark on both transactions.
  3. Press the Batch actions drop-down.
  4. Tick Excluded Selected

After following the steps above, click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Chart of Accounts to manually clear the sales receipt (see sample screenshot below).

For additional reference, I'm attaching the How to Reconcile an Account in QuickBooks Online article. It provides detailed instructions on the process that you can use in the future.
