Bank feeds

Hi I bought the upgrade to QBDT Premier 24, Bank feeds are not working. I can't change the names of my bank accounts in the chart of accounts Yes I have tried all the suggestions here and on other win11 blogs and to no avail.

I am on Win 11 I ran the "Verify data" in the utilities and it said the data was fine. The Bank feeds are not working and I have a lot of work to get done, can you help?

Thank you for sharing the screenshots, plbaldwin. Your input is invaluable in understanding the issue you are encountering.

Allow me to provide guidance and support in troubleshooting the issue at hand. Resetting the update is a recommended step that can effectively address any unexpected behavior you may be encountering in the Bank Feeds feature of your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) application.

Here is a detailed step-by-step guide to assist you through the procedure.

  1. Start by restarting your computer and closing all running applications.
  2. Locate the QuickBooks installation directory, typically found at C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks.
  3. Double-click on the QBW32.exe file to launch QuickBooks.
  4. Go to the Help menu and choose Update QuickBooks.
  5. Select the Options tab and click on Mark All under Reset Update.
  6. Save your changes and then click on Update Now.
  7. Once the update is finished, restart QuickBooks Desktop and check if the issue persists.

This will refresh the app and clear any corrupted data that could be causing problems. After that, log back in and check if the banking is now working.

If the issue persists, it is advisable to run the Quick Fix My Program feature from the QuickBooks Tool Hub as an additional troubleshooting step.

Here's how:

  1. Download the latest version of QuickBooks Tool Hub and save it to a convenient location.
  2. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems
  3. Select Quick Fix My Program.
  4. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

You can read this article for the detailed steps: Run Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks Tools Hub.

I'll be sharing these resources that will guide you in running and customizing reports in QuickBooks:
