Bank Update

My QuickBooks is telling me that my bank account "needs attention" and yet when I try to log into my bank account via QuickBooks it is telling me the log in information is not correct even though I have triple checked that it is.

Bank Update

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @haganhealth.

Let's go over a few troubleshooting steps and get your online banking in working order again.

First, you'll need to log in through your bank's website to check your credentials if they work. Then, you can try accessing your bank through QuickBooks using your bank's URL. Follow these steps:

  1. In the Banking page, click on Add Account.
  2. Search for your bank institution.
  3. Using the URL given by your bank for online banking, paste it on the URL search box.
  4. Using the credentials that you have, log in to your bank.

If you're still unable to log in, access your bank account and check for notification or messages. Your bank may have an update on their security policies, which requires you to take action.

Feel free to read this article for more details: Fix Online Banking Errors in QuickBooks Online.

If you still get the same result, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Customer Care team. This way, they can further check on factors affecting your banking login in QuickBooks and help you fix it.

Please leave a comment below or post again if you have other concerns. I'll be delighted to help you.
