Hi there, DileepaNirmal.

I appreciate you for following the steps provided by my colleague above. Allow me to share additional information about matching transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QuickBooks online, there's no option to "Find match" within foreign currency accounts.

I can see the importance of this feature you can have on your business. I encourage you to submit feedback. These requests and suggestions are forwarded directly to our Product Development Team for consideration in future updates.

You can submit within your QBO account by selecting the Gear icon and Feedback or by going to the following link: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests. Please know that I'm going to submit feedback from my side as well.

Keep us posted if have any other concerns or further questions about banking. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.

I’m here to share insights and help you resolve this, @DileepaNirmal.

In QuickBooks Desktop, there are three Bank Feed modes available. Each mode displays and handles transactions in your Bank Feeds differently.

If you’re using Advanced Mode, transactions are automatically recognized and matched to your books. This is the reason why you’re unable to see the "Find match" option.

On the other hand, QuickBooks tries to match downloaded transactions to any entries that are already in the related account. If it can't find a match, the program will create a new transaction for you automatically. Just check your unmatched entries.

Check out this reference to review the transaction in different modes: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop. It includes information on what to do if QuickBooks can't find a match.

Also, you can utilize our Verify and Rebuild Data tool to resolve missing features.

I’ve attached this information in case you want to learn more about Bank Feed modes and how to switch between them: Switch between banking modes.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns about banking. I'll be here to help. Always take care!

Thank you for your solution. currently I'm using QuickBooks online and when I click on the banking transaction in my WISE - Euro account there is no option called "Find match". but in other accounts I can see that option. there is a open bill to match that transaction also.. I don't know why this happens.

Please check my screenshot as well. Thank you

Hello there, @DileepaNirmal.

I’m here to share some information about matching transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here are possible reasons why you can’t match your downloaded transactions in QuickBooks:

• The transactions have been reconciled.

• It was not entered using the same bank account.

• The transaction entered in QuickBooks has been previously matched to another downloaded transaction.

• The transaction manually entered in QuickBooks could have a different number, amount, date or payee from the downloaded expenses.

• It’s already downloaded. There are occasions when duplicate transactions were imported. If these transactions have already been added to QBO and have a lightning bolt in the CLR column, it will not be matched again even if all four pieces of information (transaction number, amount, date and payee name) are the same.

We can also try logging in your QuickBooks account in private window. This way, we can check if it's browser-related issue.

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N

• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P

• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you can see the find match option using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. We advise our users to delete them now and then to prevent and fix issues like this.

Once done, the transactions will now show under the In QuickBooks tab. You can check out this article for more information: Add and match downloaded banking transactions.

Give this a try and let me know how it goes. If you have questions along the way, leave a comment below. I’m more than happy to lend a hand.

I have tried after logging the QuickBooks using private window, but there is no option in my Wise-Euro account. I think it is a bug or something. Anyway Thank you for your help. :)
