Can anyone tell me if they are having trouble downloading .qbo files from some sources? Have had no problems in 6 years and now one credit card account is a problem.

I want to know more about this so I can give you a hand, tcbyralston.

What is the name of your bank? And what specific error message/code did you receive?

Though, there are some bank accounts having issues when importing the .QBO file format in QuickBooks. Our engineers are working to fix it.

Meanwhile, you can try using the .CSV file formats as an alternative when importing your bank transactions.

The information I ask earlier will help me review our system to see if your bank is one of the affected financial institutions. Additional details such as screenshots would be much appreciated, too. Thanks in advance!

See my finding below that I posted yesterday regarding Chase downloads...

I'm not sure why it has yet to be posted in these on-going threads that the problem with not being able to download Chase credit card activity, at least into Quickbooks Desktop, is a problem with CHASE and that they are aware of this problem.  I just spoke with their support again today (1/30/19) and was reassured that they (Chase) are aware of this issue and that their people are actively working on a resolution.  Once fixed, they may send a message to those affected (or maybe everyone?) via their on-line Message Center.

Hi @Tim13.

Thank you for sharing what you've heard from Chase bank's customer support. This helps enlighten other customers of the progress.

Right now, our engineers are working together with Chase on solving this issue on downloading transactions.

In the meantime, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Customer Support. This way, they can add you to the list of affected accounts. Also, you'll receive an email about updates on the issue.

Here's how you can contact them:

  1. Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose a topic and sub-topic.
  3. Scroll down to Get Phone Number or Start a Message.

We appreciate your patience while we are fixing this issue.
