can I add a single bank account? I try with different banks,but when I click the save button,nothing happens,there is no way to go back a step,the button does not respond

Yes, you can add your bank for Online Banking in QuickBooks Online, dmitrichmzm. Let's do some troubleshooting steps since you have already tried adding different banks with no success. I can get you through with this.

 

When integrating your bank with QuickBooks Online, unexpected behaviors occur just like the unresponsive Save button. Here are some reasons it happens:

 

  • intermittent internet connection
  • accumulated cache on your regular browser
  • server or program issues

 

Make sure you have secured a stable internet connection. If the same issue happens, let's consider the second reason. Cache is a component that is being accumulated as we use our regular browser. It helps the browser load the details we are commonly accessing. However, cache can also cause unexpected behaviors on the browser if it stores too much of those.

 

Let's start the troubleshooting by using a private browser. It doesn't store cache like the regular one. Here are the keyboard shortcuts we can use depending on the browser you're using:

 

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

 

If you can connect your bank successfully, we can clear the stored cache on your regular browser. Otherwise, we can use a different browser aside from the one you regularly use.

 

After connecting your bank account, we can start categorizing your transactions. We can do the following to your downloaded transactions:

 

  • Add them directly to your register.
  • Match them to your existing transactions in QuickBooks Online.
  • Exclude them from being added to your register.

 

Remember that most of the banks only allow QuickBooks Online to download 90 days worth of transactions the first time you establish the connection.
