I don't have the option to select one of those file types in Wells Fargo.

Hello there, @BHansen.

You have the option to download an .IIF file format of your Wells Fargo transactions. Let me show you how to do it.

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions on how to download transactions to your computer.
  3. Make sure the data range for download is at least one day before your oldest transactions.
  4. Download your transactions, then Save the file.

To upload your file:

  1. Select the Browser.
  2. Click the file you downloaded from your bank, then select Next.
  3. From the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then select Next.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, then select Next.
  5. Click Let's go.
