Can I have 2 QB accounts connected to one checking account

Thanks for reaching out, @lbates. Happy to provide some insight on bank connections in QuickBooks Online.

At the moment, all banks have enforced security restrictions to limit you to one connection to QuickBooks. This means that you can only connect your bank account to QuickBooks once, to one account. For now, you'll need to manually import your transactions using a CSV file into QuickBooks Online to the account that isn't connected. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu on the left.
  2. Choose File upload. If you’ve never connected an account, you can Upload transactions manually. You can also begin your upload from the Import Data page (select Settings ⚙, under Tools select Import Data, and select Bank Data).
  3. Click Browse and choose the file you downloaded from your bank. If you haven't downloaded your CSV file yet, follow the onscreen instructions in the Upload file window to download your transactions and then locate the file you downloaded.
  4. Hit Open, then Next.
  5. From the QuickBooks Account drop-down list, pick the bank or credit card account then Next.
  6. Select a Datedate formatDescription, and AccountNote: You can choose 1 column or 2 columns.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Tick the checkboxes of the transactions to import then Next.
  9. Click Yes.
  10. Select Let's go! when the Import completed notification appears.

That's it! You can also import manually using a Web Connect (.QBO) file. For more information, check out: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online
