Can I transfer files from an online trial account to an online paid version. I've tried uploading the qb files again, but the the wheel just keeps spinning.

My trial version with all of my files has expired. I can still login to this account. I'm just wondering if there is a way to transfer this data to a subscription account that I have set up recently? thanks...

Once your trial account expires, you must pay it at the regular rate to continue your work.

You can utilize the Copy tool if required

I'll help you get your files moved to the new QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @ngdmf2000-gmail-.

You can transfer reports and list from one QBO account to another. Once your trial expires, data will be available for 90 days. You can export them within the period.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon from the toolbar.
  2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Select Export to Excel.

Once done, you can import them to your new QBO account. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Import data.
  2. Select the data you want to import.
  3. Click the Browser button and select the file.
  4. Click Next, then follow the onscreen instruction.

If the wheel keeps spinning when uploading your file, you may have too much historical data stored in your browser. I recommend clearing your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate.

We can remove them in just a few easy steps. Let's start by accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If you're able to import your files, clear your browser's cache. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

Furthermore, you can connect your bank and credit card accounts to automatically download recent transactions.

I'd be happy to see you again here in the Community. We're always here to help if you need assistance with starting your QuickBooks Online company. Have a good one.

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about moving your files to another QBO account. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

Can I transfer files from an online trial account to an online paid version. I've tried uploading the qb files again, but the the wheel just keeps spinning.

Hi,

Good day.  My concern is about the trial online QB expired and beyond 90 days.  How will I be able to transfer the data to the online paid version?

Thank you

I appreciate you joining the thread, @Baby1. Let me give you insights on how you can transfer your data to your paid subscription.

Once a trial version expires, you'll have only 90 days to access your account and export your data. Since the grace period is over, opening your account and transferring them is no longer available. In your case, you may seek help from our QBO Support for further assistance. Our live support can access your account securely and may recover the information for you.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Click on Search, then Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern "Recovering data from expired trial account".
  5. Tap on Continue.
  6. Choose a way to connect with support.

For your convenience, you can review the support's working hours from this link: QuickBooks Online Support.

Another option for you is to enter your transactions into your paid subscription manually.

  1. Go to the +New icon.
  2. Select the entries you want to record.

Or, manually add them to your register.

On the other hand, I'm adding this material for more tips while managing your transactions with our system in the future: Getting Started in QuickBooks Online.
