Yes, you can disconnect the accounts from online banking in QuickBooks Online. Doing so removes the option for the program to automatically import entries from your financial institution. It also deletes any transactions in the For Review tab of the Banking screen.
Here’s how to stop the connection between QBO and your credit card account:
Please follow the same steps to cut the connection between QuickBooks with the rest of the credit cards. For the details, I recommend checking out this article: Disconnect or delete an account from the Downloaded Transactions page.

In quickbooks online it's easy. You just need to disconnect the account from the bank feed. Here is the article on that.

Thank you for the quick response. Everything seemed to work. One other question if you do not mind. So now under the Banking tab, It no longer shows my Credit Card. So when I am ready to upload the files, I would do the same however look for my CC when assigning an account?

I'm glad it all worked for you. Let me help you to activate the credit card. Doing so will show up your credit card when selecting an account in QuickBooks Online.
Let me show you how:
Once Active, you can view your assigned Credit Card in QuickBooks Account.
