Hello there.
We appreciate you reaching out here in the Community space and know that this isn't the experience we'd want you to have when using QBSE. When a user encounters problems with QuickBooks Self-Employed that appear to be browser-related, we recommend that they clean their cache. Temporary internet files improve your browsing experience, but too much can build up and cause operations to slow down or even get stuck. You'll want to access your account in an incognito or private browser. Use these shortcut keys:
- Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
- Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
- Safari: Command+Shift+N
Once you're in, try performing the task once again. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
If it persists, a workaround to get through this situation would be to upload the CSV file. You can upload a CSV file into your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) company. We'll gladly write down the steps to get you going:
- Access your QuickBooks Self-Employed company.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Imports.
- Click Import transactions.
- Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
- Click Import.
See this page for further guidelines: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Moreover, we've got these articles to help you manage bank transactions, and check if your data is accurate inside QBSE:
Please let us know how it goes so we can provide further assistance if needed. We're open 24/7 and ready to help you out again. Take care, and have a good one!
