Can't connect my new Bank of America business checking account

I am unable to connect my new Bank of America corporate business checking account. In my attempt to add the account, I get all the way through to the icons communicating between QB and the bank and then it aborts and says: 

Something isn't working
We encountered an error connecting your accounts. Please try again later. 
This has been a month of this. QB support is ridiculous. They tell me they have an investigation open (6business days and counting). Bank of america has problem solved on their end and says this is a QB issue. Incredibly frustrating!!!HELP!

I've checked our records here and found out that this investigation is still in progress. As of now, we haven't received any updates to when this will be resolved. Rest assured, our engineers are currently investigating and doing their best to fix this issue the soonest. Since you already contacted our technical supports, your account detail is already added to our notification list. We'll be sending you an email once we get this sorted out  and I will also keep this thread updated.

 

For now, we can manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. Currently, these are our supported file formats:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

Here's how to upload the file:

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu, then choose the Banking tab.
  2. Click the Upload transactions button.
  3. Hit Browse and choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, then select Next
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then click Next.
  6. When you’re ready, hit Let's go.

After uploading it, let's go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions. Once done, we can now start reconciling them.

I appreciate your reply, but frankly it is what is highly dissatisfying about being a QB customer. There is no REAL customer service. I'm investigating an alternative platform because every time I need help I get these type of responses "found out that this investigation is still in progress. As of now, we haven't received any updates to when this will be resolved. Rest assured, our engineers are currently investigating and doing their best to fix this issue the soonest. "

This issue is pretty basic to banking and it is ridiculous that it has not been resolved in over a month with no clear idea of when it will be remedied.

Hello there, eletoys. 

 

We are still working on getting the issue fixed. For now, we can follow the workaround provided by @KlentB. I also suggest getting in touch with our Customer Support Team so they can add you to the notification list. All updates are sent via email. 

 

Here's how: 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks account and click the Help icon. 
  2. Select Contact us
  3. Enter your concern that you're unable to connect your bank of america account.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Select a way on how you'll want to connect with us like Chat, Call, or Get a callback
