Can the reconcile be reset without purchasing a new program?

I can help you unreconcile your transactions, laurieinco2.

While the option to undo reconciled transactions at one time in QuickBooks Online is unavailable, you can undo them individually.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Look for the account that has reconciled transactions and click View register
  3. You can filter the list to easily locate those that are reconciled.
  4. Then, repeatedly click R until it's blank meaning it's not reconciled.
  5. Click Save and confirm the action by clicking Yes.

If you have an accountant, you can invite them to undo the reconciliation at one time: Undo a client’s reconciliation in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Also, you can reconcile 2016 in QuickBooks Online as long as the transactions are entered and you have the needed bank statement.

Let me know if you have othe questions. I'm just here to help you through it. Take care!

Can the reconcile be reset without purchasing a new program?

I reconciled my account in my QBO account, which I now need to undo. When I go to the reconciliation history and click on the dropdown next to View Report, the only option it provides is Print. I created and paid for a QBOA version with a different email in hopes this would give me the Undo option in the dropdown. It did not. Any advice, other than going in an individually unreconciling each transaction one by one?

Let's run some troubleshooting steps to fix this issue, brookeamullins.

To start with, let's open QuickBooks in a private window. It is the best place to identify any browser-related issues. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If it works, we can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues o the opened pages like QuickBooks.

We also have the option to use a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

I've also added these references that have detailed information when undoing a reconciliation:

I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
