Cannot use Multicurrency function in QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2019

I am using QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2019. When I turn on the function of Multicurrency, I can't choose home currency and the drop down list only show "view more currencies" but I cannot choose and create any currency. Also, I cannot open currency lists. I've tried to change the region and languages to US and to reinstall but the problem is still here.

I've got a few troubleshooting steps we can try to get Multicurrency feature working, donald.yau.

 

Let's try running the Rebuild Data and Verify Data utility to verify any damaged data files in QuickBooks. You can follow the steps in Step 1 and Step 2 section in this article: Resolve data damage on your company file.

 

If the same thing happens, you can try repairing QuickBooks to fix any damaged component in the software preventing you from choosing the Home currency.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window. For Windows 10, 8.1 and 8, click the Computer tab.
  2. Click Uninstall or change a program. In the certain version of Windows, it may just say Repair.
  3. Select your version of QuickBooks Desktop and click Uninstall/Change.
  4. In the QuickBooks Desktop Installation window, click Next and choose the Repair radio button.
  5. Click Next again and click Repair.
  6. Click Finish.

If the problem persists, let's perform the clean uninstall/install QuickBooks Desktop to fix company file issues.
