Chase Web Download Mobile Deposit issue?

Okay.  This is my first year using Chase Mobile Deposit to deposit customer checks in my account rather than going into the branch and doing it in person.  The issue is, Chase reports every mobile deposit as the exact same thing; "REMOTE ONLINE DEPOSIT" in the web connect file. So, when I import a web connect file into QB it assigns all deposit automatically to a single customer account and I have to go back in a edit each one manually to correct this.

Chase JP Morgan is one of the biggest banks in the world and millions of people use this mobile deposit system, so I am sure there has to be a work around for this issue. TIA

Re: Chase Web Download Mobile Deposit issue?

Hi there, @Victor B.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I can share some information about your Chase Web Download Mobile Deposit issue.

The data that were downloaded and displayed on your QuickBooks account is dependent on what your bank has shared with us and how your transactions were posted on your bank’s website.

I recommend contacting your bank to verify if they had changed the way they post your transactions.

Keep me posted about this. Also, you can leave a comment below if you have follow-up questions about your bank transactions. I’m here to help you more.

Re: Chase Web Download Mobile Deposit issue?

I am sorry, but your answer is insulting and offensive.  JPMorgan Chase is one of the largest banks in the world.  Inuit is a world leader in accounting software.  And you suggestion for me is that I should go tell JPMorgan how make their Web Connect File compatible with QuickBooks?   Are you serious?  This is not my problem to solve.  This is your problem to solve because that is why I PAY you for your software.  I pay Intuit for their Software and I pay Chase Bank for Quickbooks functionality.  If it does not work, it not my place to solve it.

So try again, and this time, try not to shift the burden of solving the problem onto your customer that is paying you to handle it.
