Credit card payments not depositing in new account.

Hello there, @conservativepool.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), deposit speeds vary depending on the payment type you're using. You can check how long it'll take to get the payments you've processed by performing the steps in this article's Step 1: Check the deposit speed for your product section: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments. It contains a step-by-step guide about checking the status of deposits and specific customer payments.

Your payments will also be deposited based on the following scenarios:

  • The time of the day when you enter those transactions
  • Weekends and federal holidays
  • Financial institution to deposit the funds
  • Bank policies for verifying and processing electronic deposits

Your credit card payments are submitted daily in batches at 3:00 PM PST or 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Usually, the approximate wait time for your funds to be deposited into your account will take 2-3 business days. However, in case this is your first time processing customer payments with QuickBooks, your deposit will take longer to establish the merchant account. It may take 5-7 business days to receive your first deposit. Then, all deposits after that should process on your regular deposit schedule.

You can log in to your QuickBooks Payments account to check the status of your deposit. In case it's already beyond the processing days and the deposit is still not reflected in your account, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Customer Care team. They can check the status of your deposit and help you with a fix. Before doing so, please checkout support hours to ensure we address your concern on time. Once ready, here's how:

  1. Go to this link: Contact Payments Support
  2. Locate the QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center section.
  3. Get the phone number to call.

Additionally, here's an article that contains the answers to the most frequently asked questions about payments: QuickBooks Payments FAQ. It includes topics about letting customers pay their invoices online and undelivered invoices to name a few.

Please know that you're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow up inquiries about monitoring your customer payments in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
