Hello. We have multiple credit card subaccounts linked to a parent account. For some reason only two credit card subaccount transactions are coming through into Quickbooks where there should be 9 credit card subaccount transactions coming through. Originally when we set this up all card transactions come through but for some reason has stopped. We have disconnected the parent account and tried connecting again. No change from doing this. Can someone provide advice on how to get all the credit card subaccount transactions to show again? Thanks.
Good day, @Jessie13.
Let me share a few information and help you set up your download your credit card transactions successfully.
When connecting your bank and credit card, you'd want to consider how your transactions are posted. If the transactions were downloaded to the primary account, connect only the parent account. However, if the transactions were downloaded to the individual secondary accounts, connect the sub-accounts and not the parent account.
In the meantime, you'd want to try disconnecting the connected credit card sub-accounts from online banking. Let me guide you on how to do it.
Once completed, you'd want to logout from your QuickBooks account and login again. Now, you can try reconnecting your credit card subaccount.
If its still not updating, you can manually add the credit card transactions to your QuickBooks account. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. I've listed our supported file formats below:
Once done, you can go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions.

Thank you. That is very helpful, however we are connected to the parent account with the bank and all the subaccounts connected to the parent account are not uploading into Quickbooks.
The subaccounts used to upload through the parent account in the past but for some reason have stopped uploading. We are pretty certain nothing has changed on the bank side.
Any suggestions on what might be happening and how we can get the subaccounts to start uploading through the parent account again?
Thank you! Much appreciated.
I've checked with my resources and verify with our engineering team, there is no reported issue where sub-accounts not uploading transactions to the parent account. As suggested by my colleagues above, let's disconnect the connected credit card sub-accounts from online banking. Then reconnect it again.
If the same thing happens, I suggest reaching out to our customer support team. They have the tools to pull up your account and double-check the setting of your banking.
Take note to make sure you can get connected to our support team on time. You can reach them every Monday to Friday from 6: 00 AM PST to 6:00 PM PST. Then, until 3:00 PM PST every Saturday.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Please reply to this post and I'll get back to you. You have a good one.
Let me share some information on how a parent and sub-account downloads bank transactions, abcbanking.
You'll need to know how your bank sends the downloaded transactions. You'll want to connect only the parent account if the transactions download to one account. Otherwise, connect the subaccounts and not the parent account if the transactions download to the individual accounts. If the same thing happens, you can disconnect and reconnect your account. Here's how:
Please know that you can’t connect both a parent account and its subaccounts. If you try to connect both, you’ll get a message that the account is already connected. You can also manually upload transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Once done, you can add and match bank transactions with what you've already entered.
Feel free to let me know if you have questions about uploading bank transactions. I'll always be right here to help.
