Welcome to the Community. Let me address your deposit concerns so you can get back to business, kelleystagingdes.

When something unexpected occurs in your transactions, a hold may be placed on the funds. Some of the common reasons for holds are listed below:

  • When your payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures.
  • When certain transactions require verification of your business type to ensure it is compliant with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  • When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: You, your customer, or to Intuit.

To get more details about the deposits on hold, you can go through the following article: Understanding Payment Holds. This will provide you additional information about why deposits are placed on hold as well as when to release the funds.

Also, regarding your failed deposit in QuickBooks, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Merchant Services Center. They have the specific tools required in determining the details of the failed transaction. All account-related concerns need to be directed to our phone support for security purposes as well.

This should get you moving today, kelleystagingdes.  Don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of additional assistance. I'm always here to keep helping. Have a good one!
