Direct Deposit - Bank Account Closed Due to Inactivity

Hi there,

A new employee gave me her account information for direct deposit. Days after I had submitted the payroll, she comes to me and says her bank account is closed due to inactivity. So far I haven't received any notice from QB/Intuit regarding this, will the money be returned and I can manually write a check to the new employee?
