Do I have to pay for QB Desktop as well as my subscription to QB online in order to import my data into turbotax for filing taxes and generating K1 for partners?

Good day, @jessicabrucks.

Thanks for coming to the Community for help. I’m here to answer your question about importing data from QuickBooks to TurboTax.

The data from QuickBooks Online must first be exported to QuickBooks Desktop before importing them to TurboTax.

You can download the trial version of QuickBooks Desktop, so you won't have to pay for the software.  Check out this article for more information: QuickBooks Desktop trial links.

Please remember that there are limitations in exporting data. Here’s an article for more details: Export limitations – QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Once you’re ready to import data to Turbotax, follow the steps below:
1.    Open your return in TurboTax Business.
2.    From the File menu, select Import.
3.    Choose From QuickBooks.
4.    Lastly, follow the on-screen instructions to import.

That should do it. Stay in touch with me here if you need anything else. I’ll be on a look out for your response. Take care and have a good one!
