The QB representative that called kept telling me to enter the banking information under credit card. I kept telling her that banking information…account number, routing number does not have a place under credit card. Finally she hung up on me. The next rep said that QB no longer accepts bank accounts for payment, only credit or debit cards.

Good day, @tstoller,

I appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback about the representative you've called. I am here to shed some light about the payment methods we accept for your QuickBooks Online subscriptions.

You can use VisaMasterCardAmerican Express, and Discover cards when placing payments for your Intuit subscriptions. You also have the option to use debit cards which are associated with an active checking account with Visa or MasterCard symbol on it. Just make sure it has a US-based billing address.

Here are the payment methods we currently do not support:

  • Credit cards with billing addresses in US Territories such as American Samoa, Puerto Rico, & The U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Mailed checks
  • eCheck or ACH billing
  • Prepaid or gift credit cards with "Valued Customer" name on the card
  • Cards not linked to a bank
  • PayPal and other similar payments types

That's it. Please feel free to post your questions in the forum. I'll be more than happy to help you anytime. Have a great day!
