Does anyone know why my transactions are not popping up when I update my accounts? I see a difference in what is in the bank and what QB says I have but no transactions.

Does anyone know why my transactions are not popping up when I update my accounts? I see a difference in what is in the bank and what QB says I have but no transactions.

To ensure I can provide a timely solution, May I know the name of the financial institution? This can help me check if there’s a reported issue.


Let me provide some information on why transactions will not come over to your company. Error messages/codes and online banking connection issue can prevent QBO from downloading transactions.


Performing a manual update can help refresh the connection between QuickBooks and your banks. Here’s how:

 

  1. Tap the Banking menu and choose Banking to open the Bank and Credit Cards page.
  2. From there, select the accounts you’re working on and then click on the Update button.

Check if the transactions in the Blue tile increase. If nothing new downloaded, the issue could be on the bank’s website.
