Entering or importing an old data CSV file using a different computer doesn't matter as long as you're using supported browsers, you can import your CSV file.
You'll want to make sure that your CSV file is formatted correctly to import it successfully in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). QBSE can import CSV files that use either a 3-column or 4-column format.
The 3-column template has columns for the Date, a Description of the transaction, and the Amount of the transaction. While the 4-column template has Date, Description, and both Credit and Debit column.
I'm adding this article to learn more about importing transactions in QBSE: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
