Does the Pay Pal connection work? When I select "give permissions" I go to a page with a "relaunch pay pal" button and it just sits and loops.

I recalled there was another member within this week had the same issue with Paypal Connect. Run the trial period of this alternate app to check the connection between your PP and QBO account.

I've checked, and we haven't received any reported cases similar to your issue. I also tried replicating on my test account, and everything seems fine.

 

As initial troubleshooting, let's log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed sites, causing some unusual behavior.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcut keys:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
  • Control Option (Safari).

If it works, switch back to your current browser and clear its cache. Sometimes, it becomes overwhelmed with older data, which can lead to viewing and performance issues.

 

Performing the clearing process will refresh the system, and you'll be able to start QuickBooks in a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, I suggest using other supported browsers.

Nope.  Doesn't fix it.  And  I wasn't using the browser anyway, I was using the desktop app.

I've reviewed our system again to see if we've received reports regarding this issue. There was an investigation created yesterday which means that there are already a few others having the same concerns as yours. I'd recommend reporting this to Customer Care Team, too. They'll add you to the list of affected users and you'll receive updates directly from our engineers.

  1. Click Help in the upper-right corner and select Contact Us.
  2. Enter the details of your concern and select Let's talk.
  3. Select how you want to reach them (phone, chat, or email).
  4. Enter the necessary details to complete your request.
