- Click Lists at the top menu and select Chart of Accounts (CTRL + A).
- Click the Account button at the bottom and select New.
- Select Bank and click Continue.
- Enter Dummy in the Account Name field and click Save & Close.
Merge the accounts
- Go back to the Chart of Accounts (CTRL + A) and look for the affected account.
- Right-click on it and select Edit Account. Make sure to take note or copy the account name.
- Click Cancel and look for the Dummy account.
- Right-click on it and select Edit Account.
- Paste the name of the affected account in the Account Name field.
- Select OK and save the changes.
- Choose Yes to proceed in merging the accounts.
