Easiest way to find duplicate transactions in QB DESKTOP Pro?

I can't seem to find an answer for this for QB Desktop Pro. I switched from Quickbooks Online to Desktop Pro. I didn't realize that none of the transactions waiting "for review" would be imported. I *think* I had finished them up to a certain date, but I'm not entirely sure, I may have left some transactions I still had questions about. So there may be missing transactions from older statements, if that makes sense. So I've imported ALL the bank transactions from that account, from the time period I'm not 100% sure about, into Desktop Pro, and they're "awaiting review." I know that many of them are already in Quickbooks. How do I figure out which ones?

Do I have to go through and "accept" them all into Quickbooks first, to be able to see them at the same time as the transactions "in Quickbooks" already and see the duplicates? Or is there some way to look at transactions awaiting review for this bank account and transactions already in Quickbooks for these dates, at the same time?

Seems like all the articles I find re: duplicates are for other versions of Quickbooks, there has to be some easy way to find duplicates in Desktop Pro as well, .......right?

Hey there, @awholenoobworld.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to stop by the Community. I appreciate you sharing what you're looking to accomplish, and what you've tried so far. What you're doing now, printing your existing transactions and comparing them to the "for review" screen is what I would have recommended. This ensures a direct comparison between the two sections and should help to avoid any duplicates.

Because you're using the bank feeds feature, I want to make sure you see this article here: Get started with Bank Feeds for QuickBooks Desktop. The link will take you to a support page that has a plethora of information that can help you with utilizing the bank feeds center. Additionally, here is another article that goes over what to expect when importing into QuickBooks Desktop from the online version: Export limitations - QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Should you have any questions about this information or anything else QuickBooks, feel free to reach out to me here in the Community. I'm always here to help.

Meh. What I'm doing is going into the account, sorting by date, clicking "Print..." and printing all the transactions from that time period to pdf. Then with the transactions "in review" I'm sorting by date, tabbing back and forth between the pdf and Quickbooks to see if they're already in Quickbooks and "ignoring" the ones that are. No idea if this is the correct thing to do or if there's an easier/better way.
