Employee credit card syning

We have a credit card account with Chase that has various employee cards connected to it. In QBO, only the transactions on the main account sync. I have tried the sub-account option suggested online, but it does not work. Do you have any other plans?

Employee credit card syning

Your banking concerns may not be an easy process for you in QuickBooks Online (QBO), SdK3. Let me provide you with details about connecting your Chase credit card account to QBO.

In QBO, you need to know how your bank sends the downloaded transactions before connecting to Online Banking. If transactions download to one account, connect only the parent account.

If transactions download to the individual accounts, connect the sub-accounts and not the parent one. QBO won't let you connect both a parent account and its subaccounts.

Here's how to connect a subaccount:

  1. Go to Settings, then click Chart of accounts.

  2. Hit New and enter an Account name.

  3. Select an Account type then choose the Detail type from the dropdowns.
  4. Check Make this a subaccount and select the Parent account it should be under.
  5. Enter the Opening Balance and fill out the starting date in the As of field.
  6. Once done, click Save.

Moreover, for detailed information about parent accounts and subaccounts, feel free to visit this article: Create subaccounts in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for reaching out, SdK3. I hope the information and steps above have clarified your concern about connecting your Chase credit card account. If you have further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to post a reply. We'll be here to lend a hand.
